DIGITAL REQUIREMENTS
Requirements and acceptable file formats for the submission of digital advertising

Acceptable Ad Format Software (Windows PC and Macintosh):
Adobe Acrobat/Distiller (PDF files) 4.x & 5.x (Recommended), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PageMaker, and Quark Xpress

· If you are sending page layout application files, it is important to always supply all the elements that went into creating the files: Fonts- both screen and printer font files are required. Adobe Type 1 fonts are recommended. Art files - vector EPS and high resolution CMYK, grayscale or bitmap Tiff or EPS images. Images should have a resolution no lower than 300 DPI. Bitmap files should a resolution no lower than 1200 DPI.

Film
If submitting film, please note the following requirements, a 4-color cromalin, matchprint or Kodak Approval is also required.

· Negative film · right reading · emulsion side down · 133-line screen is recommended, 150-line screen acceptable · Maximum film density not to exceed 280% · Color rotation is black, cyan, magenta, yellow · SWOP standards apply.
