SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
PANDORA magazine
isn't limited to showcasing 2D art (photography, drawing, painting, etc.). We are looking for art in a variety of formats such as: 3D art or animation, sculpture, multimedia and web design, music, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, theater and dance, film, as well as art that is unusually compelling or experimental.

All artists receive full name credit and retain the copyright of their work. PANDORA does not and will not claim copyright for any of the artist's printed pieces. Artists are free to use their printed pieces for self-promotion, with the understanding that PANDORA will receive notice and recognition when due. PANDORA's first priority is to serve the artists' community, not hinder it.

There are guidelines for how to submit print-ready work, music and video once your work has been selected for publication but it is not necessary to prepare all your submissions in this way to give us a sneak peek. If you have an online portfolio just send us e-mail with the URL. If you don't have a website and are still interested in submitting work we will gladly accept printed photographs, 35mm slides, CD's, VHS tapes, etc. Please DO NOT send in original artwork. Files can also be sent directly to our e-mail address (pandora@pandoramagazine.com) or mailed to our post office box. (PANDORA magazine does not have a public ftp site at this time.)

Please refer to the section titled Submission Specs below for more information on what type of media is accepted. We are PC and MAC friendly.

Include Contact Information:
The key pieces of information that we will need are your full name, your address, phone number, fax (if you have one), your e-mail and your URL (if you have a website). Please also include a paragraph or two briefly telling us something about yourself and your work.

Return of Materials:
PANDORA magazine keeps all submissions on file. If you would like your submission(s) returned, please include a self-addressed, stamped return envelope (with correct postage).

Response Time:
Response time can take up to 90 days but we assure you that the staff at PANDORA magazine WILL get back to you. We are artists ourselves and hate to be left hanging.

The end product is meant to run off a CD-ROM and the viewing size will be 320 X 240 pixels. The only exception to this rule is work submitted using Macromedia Flash or Shockwave where the piece will keep it's original dimensions.
